Gülnur Emingil
Periodontics
Prof. Dr. Gülnur Emingil was born in 1968. She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1990. In 1996, she completed the PhD program in Periodontology at the Institute of Health Sciences at Ege University.
She began her academic career at the Department of Periodontology, Faculty of Dentistry, Ege University, where she was appointed Assistant Professor in 1996, Associate Professor in 2002, and Full Professor in 2007.
Prof. Dr. Emingil's scientific research focuses on the pathogenesis of periodontal diseases, periodontal treatment methods, peri-implant diseases, and the relationship between oral and systemic diseases.
As of 2024, Prof. Dr. Emingil continues her academic and clinical work at Istinye University Faculty of Dentistry and also provides clinical services at Istinye Dental Hospital (Istinye University Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center).
