Orthodontics
Dr. Lecturer Begüm Aslan completed her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Dentistry, Marmara University. She received her PhD degree in Orthodontics from the Department of Orthodontics at Yeditepe University.
Her doctoral thesis, titled “A Clinical and Histomorphometric Study of the Effects of the Amount of Alveolar Decortication on Orthodontic Tooth Movement in Rats”, was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fulya Özdemir.
Dr. Begüm Aslan currently continues her academic and clinical work at the Faculty of Dentistry, Istinye University, and also provides clinical services at Istinye Dental Hospital (Istinye University Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center).
